We are a high energy party style Variety band, playing a plethora of top hits from several genres, including Rock, Blues, Top 40, Pop and Dance. Entertaining the audience is our specialty, and we pride ourselves on performing something for everyone. Our focus is on music that is danceable, singable, and memorable.

Bite the Bullet band was established September 2010 in Jacksonville, FL and played their first gig at Culhane's Irish Pub June 2011 in Atlantic Beach FL. Then followed up with their second show headlining at the Freedom Fastival July 4, 2011 at the Mayport Naval Base playing for 5000 millitary service personell and their familes.  That kicked off an amazing run of playing monthly for the next three years building a reputation to be one of North Florida's premere variety party bands. The quality of music and high-energy performances quickly built a huge following of loyal fans young and old that came to shows regularly so they could excape from the daily grind.

After the third year, Bite the Bullet took an extended hyatus and 10 years later in January 2023 the band reformed with founding members guitarist Rusty Rhodes and bass player Bradley Magee, along with new members drummer Lee Davis and lead singers Jay Nieman and Sharon Wagner.

On April 21, 2023 the band perfomred their reunion show with the new line-up once again at Culhanes in Atlantic Beach to celebrate their 13 year anniversary playing for new and old fans. The overwhelming response from such an amzing show, Bite the Bullet is out again to share their Comback Tour with Jacksonville and surrounding areas. We hope to see you at one of our shows!
