Bio

United by friendship and a lifelong passion for rock music, the band is dedicated to delivering an authentic, high-energy tribute to the legendary career of Sammy Hagar. Each member brings over three decades of professional performing and recording experience, having shared stages, studios, and countless miles on the road with a wide range of original and cover projects. Together, they faithfully recreate the sound, spirit, and intensity of Hagar’s music—spanning Montrose, Sammy’s solo years, Van Halen, and Chickenfoot—while adding the chemistry, musicianship, and fun that only seasoned players can deliver. This is more than a tribute; it’s a celebration of a lifetime of rock ’n’ roll, performed by musicians who have lived it.

LEAD VOCALS

Dennis Allen

(aka SAMMY)

Dennis Allen, raised in Northern California, is the lead vocalist of Redfoot – The Ultimate Sammy Hagar Experience. His passion for music began at age nine and grew through years of attending live concerts, fueling his dream of performing on stage.

In high school, Dennis formed a close friendship with Paul De Lisle of Smash Mouth and supported the band during its early local years. As Smash Mouth rose to international success, Dennis later had the opportunity to join them on stage, performing Sammy Hagar classics in concert.

Known for his striking resemblance to Sammy Hagar, Dennis has earned recognition as one of Hagar’s most authentic look-alikes, leading to multiple opportunities to perform alongside Sammy Hagar himself.

In 2011, while living in Hawaii, Dennis formed Redfoot, which quickly gained popularity and opened for national acts including Led Zeppllica and The Iron Maidens. After relocating to Florida in 2024, he reassembled Redfoot with a seasoned lineup, continuing the band’s high-energy, authentic tribute to the Red Rocker’s legendary music.

LEAD GUITAR

John Metro

John Metro has been a cornerstone of the North Florida music scene since 1987. With decades of experience on both stage and in the studio, he has built a reputation as a passionate and versatile musician known for delivering high-energy performances with an authentic, powerful sound.

Throughout his career, John has found success in original music projects, earning recognition for his songwriting, musicality, and dedication to the craft. His work reflects a deep connection to rock and classic American influences, blending technical skill with a relentless work ethic.

Currently, John serves as the lead guitarist for Redfoot, a tribute band honoring the legendary music of Sammy Hagar. With Redfoot, John channels the spirit and intensity of Hagar’s catalog, delivering powerful renditions of classic songs from both Hagar’s solo career and his era with Van Halen. The band has quickly become a standout in the regional tribute scene, celebrated for its dynamic live shows and faithful performances.

Whether crafting original music or bringing iconic rock anthems to life on stage, John Metro consistently delivers with passion, precision, and professionalism.

KEYBOARDS

Dennis Reid

Dennis Reid began his musical journey at the age of nine, first playing a Thomas organ and learning by ear while watching his mother perform. Recognizing his natural talent, she encouraged his passion by purchasing a Lowrey organ and enrolling him in formal lessons. Dennis continued his musical education throughout high school, where he joined his first band, Matrix—an experience that opened the door to the world of live performance.

Over the years, Dennis has performed with a wide range of bands, including Jack Hammer Band, Loose Change, Spanky, Monkey Wrench, Fearless Nature, Whiskey Rose, Fratello, and many others, building decades of experience as a versatile and seasoned musician. Today, he brings that lifetime of musicianship and enthusiasm to Redfoot, embracing this latest chapter as an exciting new adventure.

BASS

Bradley Magee

Bradley Magee is a seasoned bassist and musician with over 30 years of experience as a live performer and recording artist. Known for his groove-driven style and versatility, he has performed across a wide range of genres including rock, funk, R&B, pop, dance, and alternative, earning a reputation as a reliable and in-demand musician.

In addition to hundreds of live performances, Bradley has contributed to numerous original recordings as a bassist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording engineer, collaborating with a diverse range of artists and projects.

Currently performing with Redfoot: The Ultimate Sammy Hagar Experience, Bradley helps deliver a high-energy, authentic tribute to Sammy Hagar’s legendary catalog, spanning Montrose, Hagar’s solo career, Van Hagar, and Chickenfoot.

DRUMS

Travis Coleman

Travis Coleman is a seasoned drummer, percussionist, and vocalist with over five decades of performance experience. He began playing clubs at age 14 in 1974, quickly establishing himself as a versatile live performer providing both lead and harmony vocals.

In 1980, Travis toured internationally with Richie Havens’ band, opening for Stills & Nash and Angelo Branduardi across Europe and the northeastern United States. Since the 1980s, he has remained an active presence in the Florida music scene, performing throughout Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Pensacola, Nassau County, and Jacksonville.

He has played with numerous respected regional bands, including The Bush Doctors, 3 Way Street Band, The Bay Street Band, Cabana Blue Band, Jimi Graves and Supernatural, and Spanky

Travis is now a member of Redfoot, where his high-energy style and passion for drumming drive the rhythmic backbone of the Sammy Hagar experience.
